His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II of Benin has served for several decades, and  in various capacities, in the public and private sector.

He was Nigerian Ambassador to several countries in Europe and Africa including:

  • The Kingdom of Sweden
  • The Kingdom of Norway
  • The Kingdom of Denmark
  • Republic of Finland
  • Republic of Angola
  • Republic of Albania
  • The Italian Republic

He is a pioneer Director of Integrated Data Services Limited, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.

In the private sector, He is the Chairman of Bluestream Nigeria Limited.  In the past, he served as Director of companies such as SIAT Nigeria Limited (now Presco Oil Plc) and King Wilkinson Ltd. He also worked briefly in United Nations Head Quarters, New York, USA.

He holds a BSc degree in Economics (Hons) from the University of Wales, United Kingdom. He went further to acquire a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA.

Ayotunde Olumide Banjo is a distinguished energy lawyer and corporate leader with over three decades of experience shaping Nigeria’s oil and gas regulatory and commercial landscape. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ibadan, is a member of the Nigerian Bar, earned a Master’s degree in Petroleum and Mineral Law, Policy and Economics from the University of Dundee, and is currently completing a PhD in Energy Law and Policy at the same institution.

His career spans private legal practice, corporate leadership, and public sector regulation. He began at Gani Fawehinmi Chambers and The Law Union, advising on oil, gas, and mining transactions, before serving for over a decade as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at Amni International Petroleum Development Company Limited. He later contributed to the national energy policy as Head of the Gas Compliance Unit and Subject Matter Specialist at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board. In recognition of his strategic leadership and impact, Ayotunde Banjo was nominated as one of the Top 100 Strategic CEOs of Nigeria’s Most Transformative Companies in 2025 by The Guardian newspapers.

 

As MD/CEO of Genesis Hydrocarbons Limited, Ayotunde leads an indigenous exploration and production company and joint operator of PML 66 (Egbolom Oilfield), holding a 9.24% equity stake. He is also the Founder and CEO of Nesgas Producing Limited, which is advancing towards FID on a landmark LPG storage and distribution project in Sub-Saharan Africa. His work reflects a strong commitment to indigenous participation, ethical leadership, and sustainable energy development in Africa.

Oseni Salawe Elamah is a seasoned finance, governance, and energy-sector professional with over 30 years of experience across oil and gas, public finance, taxation, capital markets, and institutional reform.

He holds a National Diploma in Accountancy and a Master of Science degree in Corporate Governance and Finance from Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom.

He is a Member of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and the Institute of Directors (IoD).

Mr. Elamah has held senior leadership roles in both government and the private sector, including Special Assistant (Petroleum) to the Head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and roles within the Office of the Special Adviser (Petroleum), where he contributed to national petroleum policy and sector governance.

In the private sector, he has served as Executive Director and Managing Director in oilfield services and energy ventures, leading business development, infrastructure delivery, and joint venture operations.

He currently sits on the boards of Genesis Hydrocarbons Limited, Ingentia Energies Limited, PNG Gas Limited, and Owel Linkso Group. His governance credentials are reinforced by his tenure as Executive Chairman of the Edo State Board of Internal Revenue and pioneer Executive Secretary of the Joint Tax Board, where he led landmark fiscal and institutional reforms.

Mr. Rhodes has extensive experience working in the Natural Resources sector, principally working with oil and gas as well as mining companies. Mr. Rhodes began his career in investment banking spending ten years as an investment banker in London focused on the oil and gas sector. He sits on the Boards of a number of companies. Mr. Rhodes holds a Masters degree in Business and Management in Emerging Markets from the Henley Business School in the United Kingdom.

He possesses a rich cultural background from Nigeria and the United States of America allowing him to cultivate an international network of influential leaders and key stakeholders. He has chaired multiple boards, driving strategic and operational excellence.
Currently serving as the Chairman of COPDC HoldCo, he is responsible for guiding the company’s strategic direction and ensuring robust corporate governance.

Mr Odigie’s career is marked by a proven ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and establish productive partnerships with governmental bodies. By aligning business objectives with public sector priorities, he has consistently secured successful project approvals and ensured regulatory compliance.
